"I found a 30cm diaper inserted in my father's anus at the nursing hospital"
"Discovered While Caring for a Patient Unable to Defecate
Kidney Damage and Need for Blood Transfusion Situation"
Outrage has erupted after a story surfaced about a roughly 30cm long disposable diaper being found in the anus of a father who was hospitalized in a nursing hospital.
On the 7th, a post titled "They put a diaper in my father's anus at the nursing hospital" was uploaded to an online community.
According to the post, the author, Mr. A, admitted his father, who has Parkinson's disease and has difficulty moving and communicating, to a nursing hospital. This was to provide professional care with the help of caregivers.
However, two weeks after admission to the nursing hospital, the father's pressure ulcers worsened, and Mr. A took him to the emergency room for examination.
Mr. A said, "The tests showed dehydration with high potassium levels and kidney failure, which was a serious condition," adding, "He even needed a blood transfusion."
Afterward, Mr. A's father was re-admitted to a university hospital. Mr. A said that while the nurses and family were puzzled because his father was not passing stool, they discovered something in his anus.
Mr. A stated, "Every time he coughed, his anus opened, and I saw something green. When I pulled it with my finger, a disposable diaper about 30cm long came out," adding, "After removing it, the stool that hadn't come out finally did."
He added, "If we had not found this, it could have led to intestinal necrosis or even rupture, making the situation much worse."
Mr. A also said that while cleaning his father's stool, he found bruises and wounds on the inside of his thigh, saying, "If these marks are from being tied up, it really breaks my heart."
He said, "The caregiver complained about the difficulty of caring for six people alone, and I suspect they completely blocked his anus," and announced plans to file a complaint.
Netizens responded with comments such as, "This is why people avoid nursing hospitals," "Isn't this attempted murder?" and "The hospital's name should be revealed."
However, the post has since been deleted.
