First LCC
Jin Air announced that it will introduce Apple Pay payment service starting from the 8th. This payment service is the first to be applied among low-cost carriers (LCCs).
It can be used by adding a credit card or debit card in the Wallet app installed on the iPhone without downloading a separate application (app). Then, at the payment stage, select Apple Pay and authenticate with Face ID or Touch ID to complete the payment.
The company was the first in the industry to introduce Kakao Pay simple payment service in 2015. It currently operates seven simple payment services in Korea, including Naver Pay, Payco, Smile Pay, and T-money Pay.
