A 2-year-old toddler brought a handgun to kindergarten in Argentina, prompting teachers to report the incident to the police.
According to local media P?gina12 on the 5th (local time), the incident occurred on the 3rd at a municipal kindergarten in the Loyola area of Santa Fe Province, Argentina.
Police authorities investigating the case stated that the kindergarten teachers were preparing breakfast as usual by taking out milk bottles and cups from the bags the children brought.
During this, a 2-year-old boy who had just started attending the kindergarten a few days ago was found to have a 9mm handgun, 18 bullets, and a mobile phone in his bag.
The police who responded to the teachers' report immediately took into custody the child's parents, a 38-year-old man and a 22-year-old woman.
The police stated, "Currently, the child's parents are detained and under investigation, and the child was sent home 30 minutes after the incident, being cared for by his grandmother."
