Investigation Reveals Prior Murder Incident in the Room
In China, a hotel guest reported to the police after a strong rotten smell filled the room, leading to the discovery of a corpse under the bed and the arrest of a murderer.
According to the South China Morning Post (SCMP) on the 4th, Mr. A stayed at the Landmark Hotel 'Gujang Shuhua' in Lhasa, Xinjiang Uygur (Tibet) on the 20th of last month.

View original imageAs soon as Mr. A entered the room, he smelled a rotten odor but ignored it, thinking it was coming from his own feet. After sleeping on the bed for about three hours, he left the hotel to have dinner and returned around 10:30 PM.
However, the rotten smell was even stronger than before, and Mr. A reported it to the police while also requesting the hotel staff to change his room. The hotel accepted his request and provided him with a different room.
The police who arrived at the scene found a corpse under the bed. Investigation revealed that a murder had occurred in that room earlier, and the murderer had killed the victim and left the body under the bed before fleeing.
The police obtained the identity information of the murderer and were able to catch the suspect through an emergency manhunt.
The police expressed gratitude to Mr. A for his report, which helped solve the murder case. However, through this call, Mr. A realized that he had slept for several hours on top of the corpse.
