Daegu Shinsegae held the '7th Local Talent Hope Scholarship Award Ceremony' on the 3rd, awarding a total of 130 million KRW in scholarships to local youth.
Since 2017, the 'Daegu Shinsegae Local Talent Hope Scholarship,' now in its 7th year as a specialized sharing activity for local youth, supports 130 middle and high school students selected annually through various institutions such as the Office of Education, Dong-gu Office, and police stations, providing each student with 1 million KRW.

The expansion to include local children's centers aims to identify those in need of additional support outside the formal welfare system, despite the various social welfare benefits and programs already in place.
