Yoon President apologizes to Mrs. Kim, saying "If we hadn't met, you would live more comfortably"
Assemblyman Yeo appears on KBS Radio Joo Jin-woo Live
"They said I went through a lot meeting me"
Rep. Lee Yong of the People Power Party said that President Yoon Seok-yeol feels sorry for First Lady Kim Geon-hee, adding, "She sometimes says that if she hadn't met me, she would have lived comfortably, but meeting me caused her a lot of hardship."
On the 2nd, Rep. Lee appeared on KBS Radio's 'Joo Jin-woo Live' and said, "First Lady Kim also always has a feeling of mutual apology between each other."
Rep. Lee described the First Lady as "someone who always prepares sandwiches, coffee, and milk when I visit in the morning," and said, "She is very modest and gentle."
He added, "Although she has a straightforward personality, her nature is originally gentle and kind, so she supports the President but is not active or anything like that. She is completely different from the (known image)."
Rep. Lee said, "The most regrettable part is that there have been many rumors about First Lady Kim regarding stock manipulation. Almost throughout the entire presidential election year, such rumors were mixed into a frame," but he added, "(During the Moon Jae-in administration) there was an investigation for two years, but there was no evidence."
