Noru Paint Supports Pantone Paint for 'Edward Hopper' Exhibition
Noru Paint announced on the 3rd that it sponsored Pantone Paint for the first solo exhibition of 20th-century American realism painter Edward Hopper in Korea, titled "Edward Hopper: On the Road."
This exhibition showcased a total of over 270 works, including 222 Hopper paintings from the Whitney Museum of American Art in New York, 160 paintings, and more than 100 archival pieces.
Following the success of the "David Hockney Exhibition" in 2019, which attracted 300,000 visitors, this is the largest domestic exhibition in the first half of this year, with 100,000 early bird tickets sold out, garnering great anticipation from exhibition enthusiasts.
Noru Paint and the organizer, Seoul Museum of Art, applied Pantone Paint Multi products and the "Soon&Su All Cover" product for spatial design, tailored to the characteristics of Edward Hopper's works and the exhibition space through prior consultation.
Each section of the space used Pantone Paint, boasting differentiated color sensations with over 2,600 colors.
The art shop, where souvenirs can be purchased, applied the pastel-toned Pantone Paint Basil (16-6216 Basil) color with a green base to match trendy sensibilities.
The exhibition is held for about four months from April 20 to August 20 at the Seoul Museum of Art Seosomun Main Building.
At the Edward Hopper exhibition art shop, the trend book (COVER ALL Vol.07) published by Noru Paint Seoul Design Studio is sold. This book proposes mid- to long-term directions and strategies regarding color, materials, and design strategies.
