Beauty Brands Donate Scholarships and Skin Care Devices to Gyeongnam Information University
Famous beauty brands delivered scholarships and skin care devices to be used as practical training equipment to the K-Beauty Department at Gyeongnam Information University.
The K-Beauty Department at Gyeongnam Information University (President Kim Dae-sik) held a ‘K-Beauty Department Scholarship Award Ceremony and Industry Special Lecture’ at the university art hall.
At the event, a total of four companies, including beauty brands Yaksomyeongga, Seomyeon S-Line Gyarumbichek, Miinga, and Yeorihan Diet, donated scholarships worth 21 million KRW and beauty devices worth approximately 1.4 million KRW.
Yaksomyeongga, which conducts customized education with the K-Beauty Department at Gyeongnam Information University, donated 10 million KRW in scholarships, and CEO Kim Hyun-sook gave a special lecture titled ‘Growing as a Beauty Entrepreneur.’ Yaksomyeongga has been donating 10 million KRW in scholarships annually for 13 years since 2011.
Yeorihan Diet donated one personal skin care device to each student, which was a gift from Park Min-ji, a Gyeongnam Information University alumna and outstanding employee, to her juniors at her alma mater.
On the day, Park Min-ji visited her alma mater and personally delivered the skin care devices to her juniors, followed by a special lecture titled ‘Growing as a Skin Care Expert.’

Kim Sung-sook, CEO of premium aesthetic brand Miinga, donated 5 million KRW in scholarships and gave a special lecture on the vision of the beauty industry titled ‘Miinga Success Story.’
Jung Cheol-soon, head of the K-Beauty Department at Gyeongnam Information University, said, “We are very grateful to the successful beauty experts who graduated from the K-Beauty Department at Gyeongnam Information University and the well-known companies that have customized education agreements with us for delivering scholarships to juniors with whom they have special ties and for providing special lectures that share vivid real-world experiences.”
