Changnyeong-gun Talent Development Scholarship Foundation Holds 66th Board Meeting
Scholarship Approval for 168 Individuals Including University Entrants
The Changnyeong-gun Talent Development Scholarship Foundation in Gyeongnam held its 66th board meeting on the 2nd at the county office's government meeting room.
They conducted in-depth discussions on various opinions for nurturing local talent and the development of the scholarship foundation, including the selection review of scholarship students for 2023.

On this day, the foundation resolved to provide a total of 339.5 million KRW in scholarships to 168 students who passed the review. The scholarship recipients by category are 83 university students with excellent academic records, 40 high school students with excellent academic records, 25 middle school students with excellent academic records who entered local high schools, 12 students excelling in arts and physical education, and 8 university students from low-income families.
The scholarships will be awarded after a ceremony held in May for representative students from each school.
Seong Nak-in, the chairman of the scholarship foundation and county governor, said, "I hope the Changnyeong scholarship can be a driving force for students who are working hard toward their dreams," and added, "We will provide generous support to help nurture talents who will lead the future of the region."

Since its establishment in October 2003, the Changnyeong-gun Talent Development Scholarship Foundation has provided scholarships totaling 3.41 billion KRW to over 2,200 students up to last year, actively conducting scholarship projects every year to support beneficiary students and their parents.
