The number of dining franchise stores supplied with ingredients by CJ Freshway has surpassed 10,000.
CJ Freshway announced on the 2nd that as of the first quarter of this year, it supplies ingredients to a total of 10,689 dining franchise stores nationwide. This represents an approximately 27% increase compared to the same period last year. The number of dining brands, including Frank Burger, Geumbyeol Beer, and Eupcheon-ri 382, totals 436, among which there are also mega franchise brands with quarterly sales exceeding 10 billion KRW.
The company explained that this growth trend is the result of co-growth effects from attracting new clients and expanding business with existing customers. In the first quarter alone, CJ Freshway secured ingredient distribution businesses from 18 dining franchise companies, including Tabe Korea, which operates famous dining brands such as Beommokju and Samsan Hoegwan. They have also secured large franchise clients whose number of franchise stores has exceeded three digits since the early stages of their business.
As the dining industry gradually improves following the transition to the endemic phase of COVID-19, CJ Freshway has actively strengthened its market competitiveness by offering customized solutions for dining companies, including ▲ brand and menu consulting ▲ product development utilizing intellectual property (IP) ▲ marketing, design, and management consulting.
