300 Water Safety Helpers Needed... Ulsan Fire Headquarters Recruiting 119 Citizen Lifeguard Volunteers
Ulsan City is recruiting about 300 citizen volunteers to ensure the safety of water recreation visitors during the summer season.
The Ulsan Fire Headquarters (Chief Lee Jae-soon) announced on the 1st that it will recruit volunteers to participate in the '119 Citizen Water Rescue Team' from the 2nd to the 20th to secure water safety.
The recruitment fields are water rescue personnel (life-saving) and waterside safety personnel (safety guidance, patrol).
The activity period is from July to August this year, and before deployment, volunteers will receive training on first aid, water life-saving methods, and preventive patrol guidelines at each fire station, then will operate around Jinha and Ilsan beaches.
The main roles include water and waterside safety monitoring activities focused on preventing water accidents, preventing drowning accidents, safety measures and first aid activities, and water accident prevention activities.
