Ansangmi, chairperson of the Michuhol-gu Countermeasures Committee, said, "The pre-remedy and post-recovery (bond purchase) plan demanded by the victims was ultimately excluded," and added, "Minister Won Hee-ryong should stop the distortion that public funds are being used." She also stated, "With the current government proposal, it is highly likely that actual victims will find it difficult to utilize it effectively," and emphasized, "The bond purchase plan should be included to allow victims to choose according to their various situations."
The committee also pointed out that the special law's duration of two years is too short. The committee stated, "As the scale of jeonse fraud continues to grow significantly, the short duration of the special law raises concerns that victims may not be recognized within the law's timeframe due to various factors such as exercising the right to request contract renewal or handling inheritance issues," and added, "The fact that it takes up to 75 days for the review committee to recognize victims disregards the victims' position."

Furthermore, they said, "The six conditions proposed by the government and ruling party should be significantly relaxed or abolished," and added, "Since the auction has already been suspended, rather than pushing the special law through by next week, a proper special law should be enacted."
