Gyeongnam Bank Donates 500 Million Won to Changwon City Workers' Uniform Shared Laundry Facility
On the 28th at 10 a.m., Changwon City in Gyeongnam announced in the reception room that BNK Gyeongnam Bank donated 500 million KRW to the Community Chest of Korea to expand the operation of the Changwon City Workers' Workwear Shared Laundry.
On this day, BNK Financial Group Chairman Bin Dae-in and BNK Gyeongnam Bank President Ye Kyung-tak visited City Hall and presented Mayor Hong Nam-pyo with the 'Certificate of Donation for the Changwon City Workers' Workwear Shared Laundry Sponsorship.'
BNK Gyeongnam Bank donated 500 million KRW to Changwon Special City to expand the communal laundry service for workers' uniforms in Changwon.

The shared laundry, which opened in October 2019, provides a one-stop service for collection, washing, and delivery of workwear to workers in Changwon at an affordable price of 500 KRW per set. However, its daily maximum processing capacity is limited to 1,000 sets, and its location on the outskirts of Changwon caused difficulties in laundry collection and delivery.
With this donation from BNK Gyeongnam Bank, relocating the workwear shared laundry to the Changwon National Industrial Complex and establishing new facilities will allow the daily maximum processing capacity to be expanded to 2,000 sets.
President Ye said, “I hope the activation of the workwear shared laundry will provide clean workwear to workers in Changwon’s root industries, such as machinery and manufacturing.”
