Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport Holds '21st Construction New Technology Day' Event... 24 Meritorious Persons Awarded
The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport announced on the 28th that it will hold the '21st Construction New Technology Day' event at EL Tower in Seocho-gu, Seoul.
Construction New Technology Day was established in 2003 to inspire pride and confidence among developers of new construction technologies.
At this event, a total of 24 individuals from new technology developers, local governments, and government-affiliated organizations who contributed to the advancement of construction technology will receive government awards and Minister of Land, Infrastructure and Transport commendations.
Major awardees include ▲ Lee Heewon, CEO of Refresh Technology, who received the Order of Industrial Service Merit, Bronze Tower ▲ Kang Choongmo, CEO of TRP Construction, who received the Industrial Medal ▲ Park Byungjae, Executive Director of Korea Expressway Corporation, who received the Presidential Citation ▲ Bae Seonggwi, Team Leader at Korea Expressway Corporation, who received the Prime Minister's Citation ▲ Kim Minguk, Manager at Samsung Construction, who received the Minister's Citation.
Minister of Land, Infrastructure and Transport Won Heeryong, through a video message, will introduce government policies related to ‘Digital Transformation and Technological Innovation in Construction Technology’ to respond to global technological competition driven by the 4th Industrial Revolution, and will urge construction professionals to develop new technologies to lead the global construction market.
