60s Man Threatens Convenience Store Owner with Weapon After Dispute... Arrest Warrant to Be Requested
A man in his 60s who threatened a convenience store owner with a weapon at midnight was arrested by the police.
The Dongdaemun Police Station in Seoul announced on the 27th that they have apprehended and are investigating a man in his 60s, identified as Mr. A, on charges of special intimidation.
Mr. A is accused of threatening the convenience store owner with a weapon at around 11 p.m. the previous day at a convenience store in Jeonnong-dong, Dongdaemun-gu, Seoul.
According to the police investigation, Mr. A got into an argument with the store owner and returned wielding a weapon to cause a disturbance.
The police, who responded to reports from the store owner and customers, arrested Mr. A at the scene.

A police official stated, “Due to the high risk posed by the weapon, we plan to apply for an arrest warrant for Mr. A.”
