Ourhome Participates in 'K-Kitchen Project' for Food Tech Industry Development
Project Support Based on Food and Beverage Service Expertise
Ourhome announced on the 27th that it has joined the 'K-Kitchen (Smart Kitchen) Project' to secure competitiveness in the food tech business.
The K-Kitchen Project is a business promoted by Gyeongsangbuk-do since last year to develop the domestic food tech industry and strengthen the competitiveness of the dining-out industry. Various specialized institutions from local governments, academia, and companies are joining forces.

View original imageThe K-Kitchen Promotion Committee plans to promote a major transformation of smart kitchens based on food tech by integrating new technologies such as information and communication technology (ICT) and artificial intelligence by 2026 through expanding human and material exchanges among participants. It also plans to actively support the development of the dining-out industry by establishing a support system for dining-out and food tech startups.
Ourhome plans to participate in the project by leveraging its know-how and understanding of the entire process related to food and beverage service provision, from raw material procurement, storage, logistics, cooking processes, serving, to customer service. Additionally, based on its capabilities including extensive collaboration experience with numerous food tech startups, smart factory construction and operation consulting, AI-based personalized health meals, over 20,000 standardized recipes, and food safety management, it will contribute to the success of the project.

Lee Dong-hoon, Vice President and Head of Vision Strategy Division at Ourhome, said, "We joined the K-Kitchen Project to respond to the rapidly changing environment and to promote the co-growth of the domestic dining-out industry."
