The Nakdong River Basin Management Advisory Committee, under the Ministry of Environment, is composed of 25 private experts and representatives from private organizations recommended by six metropolitan local governments: Daegu City, Gyeongbuk Province, Gangwon Province, Ulsan City, Gyeongnam Province, and Busan City.
This committee advises on the annual fund operation plan of 250 billion KRW and the rate of water usage charges, and receives reports on the fund settlement. The chairman's term is two years.
