Oh Shin-hwan, Deputy Mayor for Political Affairs of Seoul, is reported to be running for the 22nd general election in Seoul Gwangjin-eul.
According to Seoul city officials on the 12th, Deputy Mayor Oh is likely to run in Seoul Gwangjin-eul in next year's general election and face off against Go Min-jung of the Democratic Party of Korea.
As a re-elected member of the National Assembly from Gwanak-gu Eul, Seoul, Deputy Mayor Oh is recognized for his political acumen, having served as the floor leader of the Bareunmirae Party.
If he wins in next year's general election, he is expected to become a three-term lawmaker, gaining significant influence in the political arena.
