New COVID-19 Cases at 16,383... About 100 Fewer Than Last Week (Update)
The Central Disease Control Headquarters announced on the 26th at midnight that the number of new COVID-19 confirmed cases increased by 16,383, bringing the total to 31,114,786.
The number of new confirmed cases on this day increased by 1,566 compared to the previous day (14,817). However, compared to a week ago on the 19th (16,499), it decreased by 116.
The number of new confirmed cases had been increasing for 11 days from the 14th to the 24th but started to decrease from the previous day.
Among the new confirmed cases, 13 were imported from overseas.
The number of critically ill patients currently hospitalized is 153, an increase of 11 from the previous day.
