Hussein A Al Qatani, S-Oil CEO, Becomes Honorary Citizen of Ulsan
"Petrochemical Industry Development and Contribution to Local Communities"
Hussain A. Al-Qahtani, CEO of S-Oil Corporation, has become an honorary citizen of Ulsan.
Ulsan City announced that on the 26th at 3:30 PM, in the mayor’s office on the 7th floor of the main building, it will present Hussain A. Al-Qahtani with the Ulsan City Honorary Citizen Plaque and a commemorative medal.
Formerly the CEO of Saudi Aramco Shell Refinery, he was appointed CEO of S-Oil on June 13, 2019, and has carried out various social contribution activities in Ulsan. He is recognized for significantly contributing to the development of the petrochemical industry through large-scale facility investments.
In particular, his investment in the largest domestic petrochemical complex facility worth a total of 14 trillion KRW created jobs, increased production capacity of industrial raw materials, and enhanced export competitiveness, playing a major role in revitalizing Ulsan’s economy.
The Ulsan City Honorary Citizen Certificate is a system awarded to foreigners, overseas Koreans, and individuals from other cities and provinces who have made significant contributions to the development of city administration.
