So Byung-yong, Chief of Jeju Coast Guard, visited Hallim Police Substation in Jeju City on the 25th to conduct an on-site inspection.
According to the Jeju Coast Guard on that day, Chief So visited Hallim Police Substation to check the establishment of service discipline, safety management of vulnerable coastal areas, and proactive marine accident prevention measures, and encouraged the police officers at Hallim Police Substation who are working hard for safety management.

The inspection included checking the installation of safety management facilities in accident-prone areas within Hallim jurisdiction, compliance with safety guidelines for major accident prevention at the substation, management status of various facilities such as coastal rescue boats and mooring facilities, and inspection of the Hallim-Biyangdo ferry site.
Chief So Byung-yong said, “Hallim Police Substation is responsible for the safety of the western sea of Jeju Island. We will improve rapid rescue and response capabilities through continuous training in case of marine accidents, and focus on accident prevention activities in coastal areas to create a safe Jeju sea.”
