Boseong-gun, Jeollanam-do announced that from April 24 to May 10, it will hold a 40% discount event on tea and tea-related products at the agricultural specialty online shopping mall ‘Boseong Mall’.

This special discount event is limited to tea and tea-related products to ensure the successful hosting of the ‘2023 Boseong World Tea Expo,’ which will be held from April 29 to May 7.

The event offers a dramatic 40% discount, combining a 20% discount from Boseong Mall itself and an additional 20% discount from the Jeollanam-do city and county agricultural, fishery, and livestock product promotion exhibition.

Additionally, on the last day of the Boseong World Tea Expo, May 7, the first 2,000 customers who purchase products through Naver Live Commerce will receive an extra ‘5,000 KRW discount coupon for all items on Boseong Mall.’

A representative from Boseong-gun stated, “We expect this discount event to contribute to expanding sales for tea-producing farms busy with the first flush tea harvest and to the successful hosting of the ‘2023 11th Boseong World Tea Expo.’” They added, “We plan to focus on promotion through SNS to help increase the income of tea farms through this discount event.”

Meanwhile, Boseong Mall is an online direct transaction shopping mall selling agricultural specialties such as Boseong rice, grains, kiwi, tomatoes, fruits, vegetables, sauces, and fermented foods. It has shown rapid growth, achieving sales of 4.2 billion KRW in 2022 and 2 billion KRW as of the end of March 2023, contributing to the income increase of local farms.
