Meritz Financial Group Revamps Shareholder-Friendly Website... New Start as 'One Meritz'
Meritz Financial Group (CEO Kim Yong-beom) announced on the 25th that it has newly launched a website to complete the group’s ‘One Meritz’ as a single listed company by fully incorporating Meritz Fire & Marine Insurance and Meritz Securities as wholly owned subsidiaries. Through the website renewal, the company plans to strengthen the website’s role as a guide for communication with shareholders and customers and for ESG management.
The extensively revamped Meritz Financial Group website has removed all unnecessary information in Meritz’s unique style and focused on numbers and concise information. Showy introductory texts and complex design elements have been minimized to optimize the convenience of information acquisition from the perspective of visiting shareholders and customers.
Changes were also made to the website design for effective information delivery. Using Meritz’s CI color, ‘Orange Red,’ numerical and visual materials emphasizing corporate identity were placed. On the main screen, which is the first exposure when accessing the website, the phrase ‘We say growth in Numbers’ is displayed along with Meritz Financial Group’s performance figures at a glance. The phrase ‘We show growth in numbers’ means ‘we will conduct transparent and clean management recognized by all shareholders’ based on Meritz Financial Group’s principle that the value of one share held by a major shareholder and one share held by a general shareholder is the same.
In addition, all information related to management activities, subsidiary performance figures, dividends and total dividend amounts, treasury stock purchase and cancellation amounts, and shareholder return rates are organized clearly to facilitate quick understanding and allow core content to be intuitively grasped even on mobile devices.
The renewed website has newly established an ESG section to continuously provide various information such as environmental, social, and responsible management strategies, social contribution programs, and the ESG annual report, thereby strengthening customer trust in Meritz Financial Group, which creates social value.
