To mark the 101st Children's Day, the first day of the golden holiday, the county is fully prepared to provide lively performances, special experiences, delicious food, and safe transportation for tourists visiting Imsil Cheese Theme Park.
While hosting a rich Children's Festival utilizing the resources of the Cheese Theme Park, a commemorative ceremony, an exciting military band performance, special performances, and free experience booths have been set up on the special stage at the Cheese Theme Park.
The Family Month event, held over three days from Friday to Sunday, will feature treasure hunts, flea markets, nostalgic food, and paid experiences.
The county has established a cooperative system with administration, police, social organizations, and related institutions to ensure that visitors to the Cheese Theme Park have a pleasant and enjoyable experience, making thorough preparations through mutual consultation.
In particular, special attention is being paid to traffic issues such as parking and the prevention of tourist safety accidents through pre-joint inspections with the police station to ensure tourists can safely enjoy the event.
At the Cheese Theme Park, the Imsil Cheese History and Culture Center, built last December, tells the story of Father Ji Jeong-hwan and Imsil N Cheese, which is expected to greatly help child visitors understand the history of cheese.
The Imsil Cheese History and Culture Center consists of the Ji Jeong-hwan Father History Hall, Cheese History Hall, World Cheese History Hall, Cheese Cafe, and Cheese Aging and Manufacturing Room. It also features photo zones and spaces where visitors can experience AR and VR, making it very popular among family tourists.
It has established itself as a landmark of Imsil Cheese Theme Park and an educational venue where visitors can learn about the past, present, and future of Imsil Cheese.
County Governor Shim Min said, "I hope families come to the Cheese Theme Park during Family Month in May to have a happy time with various activities, entertainment, and food," adding, "As many tourists are expected to visit, we will pay special attention to safety issues in cooperation with related institutions."
