Lotte ON and Lotte Mart Launch Tuna Sashimi Delivery Service... Prepared Immediately Upon Order
Sales Increased by 50% from January to March This Year
Lotte ON and Lotte Mart announced on the 25th that they will introduce tuna sashimi through their sashimi and sushi delivery service.
The sashimi and sushi delivery service has been operating since January last year, and when customers order from Lotte ON, seafood experts at Lotte Mart stores prepare the products by hand and deliver them. According to Lotte ON, sales of sashimi and sushi from January to March this year increased by more than 50% compared to the previous year.
The newly introduced assorted tuna belly sashimi (300g) is sold for 25,900 KRW, consisting of yellowfin tuna and bigeye tuna. Especially since freshness is crucial for this product, the raw fish is prepared immediately after the customer places an order, then packaged, and cold packs and ice packs are included during delivery.
The range of products and delivery areas are also expanding. Initially, only about 10 products made with flatfish and salmon were offered, but now more than 30 products including rockfish, shrimp, and sea urchin roe are sold. The service area is currently operating in 51 stores, about three times more than at the beginning.
