Gyeonggi-do Opens ChatGPT Courses for Residents... Online Classes Starting in May
Gyeonggi Province will conduct online video training for residents on the generative artificial intelligence (AI) service 'Chat GPT' through the Gyeonggi Lifelong Learning Portal Knowledge (GSEEK) starting next month.
This training, the first of its kind among metropolitan local governments nationwide, will be held in real-time video sessions twice a month for a total of 12 sessions, covering the concept and understanding of generative AI services, application cases by field, and usage methods.
The province plans to proactively respond to the AI era by providing GPT utilization training for residents, public officials, and businesses.
Prior to this training, last month, the province conducted an online survey on Chat GPT targeting 5,001 Knowledge members and SNS users, with 48% of respondents answering that they 'do not know much' about Chat GPT. Additionally, 96% expressed willingness to participate in Chat GPT-related training.
