Park Beom-gye "Han Dong-hoon, a feast of words... answers as if the investigation is concluded"
Park Beom-gye, a member of the Democratic Party of Korea, criticized Justice Minister Han Dong-hoon for responding to the Democratic Party's criticism that the "money envelope investigation is political oppression by the prosecution" by saying, "Is the match-fixing investigation sports oppression?" calling it a "feast of words" and accusing him of representing a specific political faction.
On the 24th, on KBS's 'Choi Kyung-young's Strong Current Affairs,' Park said about Minister Han's response, "It is a feast of words carefully crafted from various considerations in many ways."

Park said, "Because of that, if Minister Han talks to that extent, the president might have also received such a report, right?" and added, "So I think such wording could come out, but you should not talk like that."
Regarding President Yoon Seok-yeol's use of expressions like "fraudster" and "bribery with money" at the April 19th commemoration ceremony, he said, "Those are not expressions that should be used at the April 19th commemoration," and added, "I have serious doubts about the timing of this investigation and also suspect there might be room for plea bargaining."
About a recent media report that former Representative Song's aide was part of Lee Jae-myung, the Democratic Party leader's close circle since Lee's time as mayor of Seongnam, Park said, "Isn't that a part that makes us suspect the investigation is targeting Representative Lee Jae-myung?" and added, "They probably did not write this roughly without any basis; they are imagining various connections and writing about them."

He, who is aiming to run for floor leader, expressed the position that the money envelope case should be investigated by a special investigative body centered on external experts. He said, "If we leave this only to the prosecution, the investigation could drag on until the end of the year and the general election," and added, "In a situation where it is impossible to predict how large-scale and for how long this investigation will proceed overall, this is the best method our party can do."
