MFDS "HACCP Certification Fee Reduction for Wildfire Special Disaster Areas"
The Ministry of Food and Drug Safety announced on the 24th that it will temporarily reduce the certification and renewal review fees for the Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) certification for food and livestock product companies located in areas recently declared special disaster zones due to large-scale wildfires, in order to alleviate their economic burden.
The reduction period is from the date of the special disaster zone declaration until December 31. New applicants for HACCP certification or those applying for renewal after the certification expiration can receive a reduction of up to 30% of the fees stipulated by relevant laws.
