Gwangju Dongbu Police Station Provides Drug Prevention Education for University Students
On the 23rd, the Gwangju Dongbu Police Station announced that it conducted drug prevention education for about 30 students from the Department of Police Administration at Chosun University who visited the station for an on-site tour.
The education involved distributing promotional leaflets on drug crime prevention and watching videos to inform about recent cases of harm caused by drug-laced beverages and the dangers of narcotics, urging caution and advising to report to 112 in case of similar incidents.
Cho Young-il, the chief of Dongbu Police Station, stated, “Recently, drug crimes have emerged as a significant social issue. We will continue proactive prevention activities and strive harder to eradicate drug crimes.”
