Lunit Receives Presidential Citation for Achievements in Securing Digital Healthcare Competitiveness
Medical AI company Lunit announced on the 22nd that it received the Presidential Citation in the Science and Technology Promotion category in recognition of its contribution to generating exports through the global commercialization of medical AI technology and securing national digital healthcare competitiveness.

Hosted by the Ministry of Science and ICT and the Korea Communications Commission, the event honored a total of 267 individuals for their contributions to the promotion of science, technology, and information and communication, as well as national research and development performance evaluation.
Lunit was recognized for having the most research achievements among medical AI companies worldwide and for generating over 80% of its total sales through exports based on its technological capabilities. Additionally, the company was highly praised for contributing to securing national digital healthcare competitiveness by spreading Korea’s cutting-edge medical AI technology globally, with more than 2,000 medical institutions worldwide adopting its self-developed chest X-ray AI image analysis solution 'Lunit Insight CXR' and mammography AI image analysis solution 'Lunit Insight MMG'.
