Benchmarking Excellent Best Practices, Gumi-si Takes Initiative in Proactive Administration
Learning from Housing Administration in Redevelopment and Reconstruction
Gumi City in Gyeongbuk Province visited the Gangnam District Office in Seoul and two other locations on the 13th and 14th to benchmark advanced administrative practices for the smooth progress of redevelopment and reconstruction projects under the "Urban and Residential Environment Improvement Act."
This benchmarking was conducted to analyze administrative support procedures of public institutions by local governments and various exemplary cases, and to reflect policies suitable for the city's circumstances.
They visited Gangnam District Office and Yeongdeungpo District Office, which are central districts of large cities where redevelopment and reconstruction projects are actively underway, as well as Seongnam City Hall, which is promoting the maintenance of aging planned cities.
