Boda AI, President Yoon Visits the US... "Seeking Global Expansion Opportunities"
Hyundai Motor In-House Venture Included in US Economic Delegation
Startup 'Boda AI,' spun off from Hyundai Motor Group, announced on the 21st that it will participate in the economic delegation accompanying President Yoon Suk-yeol on his state visit to the United States.
According to the Federation of Korean Industries (FKI), a total of 122 companies and organizations are included in this economic delegation for President Yoon's state visit to the U.S. This includes 19 large corporations such as Hyundai Motor, Samsung Electronics, and LG, 21 mid-sized companies, and 64 small and medium-sized enterprises.
The FKI reportedly comprehensively considered each company's business prospects and investment performance and conducted two rounds of review to select the companies participating in the economic delegation.
After attending the economic delegation, Boda AI plans to move to Boston to visit global companies such as Oracle and hold meetups with local experts.
Boda AI started as an in-house startup of Hyundai Motor Group and spun off in December 2021. It develops and operates an AI machine vision platform that enhances productivity in manufacturing. It also participated in the CES 2023 exhibition held in Las Vegas, USA, last January.
