Forest Healing Center Gifts 'Healing in the Forest' to Families of Fallen Police Officers
The National Forest Healing Center under the Korea Forest Welfare Institute announced on the 21st that it held the ‘Sharing Forest Camp’ at the Forest Healing Center located in Yeongju, Gyeongbuk, from the 20th to the 21st, with the participation of bereaved families of fallen police officers in cooperation with the Gyeongbuk Provincial Police Agency.
Since 2019, the Forest Healing Center has operated programs for the prevention and treatment of post-traumatic stress and health promotion for police officers.
This year, the program has been expanded to include bereaved families of fallen police officers, fellow police officers, and their families, offering forest healing programs. The program runs a total of eight sessions from March to October.
On the 20th, participants of the Sharing Forest Camp are experiencing the forest trail with the help of a forest healing instructor at the Masil Healing Forest Trail in the National Forest Healing Center in Yeongju-si, Gyeongbuk. Provided by Korea Forest Welfare Promotion Institute
