The 'Healthcare and Medical Organizations Social Contribution Council' (SaGongHyeop), composed of 14 healthcare and medical organizations including the Korean Medical Association and the Ministry of Health and Welfare, announced on the 21st that it has donated 20 million KRW to Concern Worldwide, an international humanitarian organization, for earthquake relief efforts in Turkey and Syria.
Yang Hyeran, Co-Chair of SaGongHyeop and Director of Social Participation at the Korean Medical Association, stated, "First, we express our deepest condolences to the victims and their families affected by the powerful earthquake. Although small, we hope this becomes a ray of hope and offers some comfort."
