'Nohu Gyehoek Dosi Jaejeongbi Jumin Seolmyeonghoe' to be Held on the 24th in Gwangmyeongseo
Gyeonggi Province will hold a 'Resident Briefing Session on the Redevelopment of Aging Planned Cities' at the Gwangmyeong Lifelong Learning Center on the 24th of this month.
This briefing session was organized following the proposal of the 'Special Act on the Maintenance and Support of Aging Planned Cities' on the 24th of last month, which confirmed that the Gwangmyeong Cheolsan and Haan Housing Districts meet the criteria for aging planned cities.
Within the province, the special act applies to 13 districts across 9 cities, including the first-generation new towns.
The special act includes provisions granting exemptions or relaxations for safety inspections, land use changes, and floor area ratio increases for the redevelopment of these aging housing districts. The resident briefing session will explain the key contents of the special act, redevelopment policy trends, and redevelopment directions, while gathering residents' opinions.
