Korail Gwangju Jeonnam Holds Innovation Competition
Korea Railroad Corporation (KORAIL) Gwangju Jeonnam Headquarters recently announced on the 20th that it held an 'Innovation Competition.'
The competition evaluated a total of 13 outstanding innovation projects in two categories: 'Safety and Technological Innovation' and 'Financial Improvement and Service·ESG Management Innovation.' Innovation leaders and department heads from each division discussed execution plans for the innovation projects together.
The outstanding innovation projects were finalized after identifying improvement points at railway sites centered on innovation leaders since January, deriving solutions, and then going through preliminary rounds and employee voting.

Ji Yong-tae, head of KORAIL Gwangju Jeonnam Headquarters, said, “It was meaningful to glimpse the potential for change and innovation through the collective intelligence of our internal talents,” adding, “We will diligently prepare for the future of railways that are loved and trusted by the public.”
