The e-mobility specialized knowledge industry center, with a total project cost of 29.3 billion KRW, is expected to house e-mobility related companies and institutions in a clustered manner, serving as a hub for job creation through attracting numerous companies.
The county expects that more than 40 companies, including existing companies in the Daema Industrial Complex and new enterprises, have expressed their intention to move in, significantly contributing to the revitalization of the Daema Industrial Complex and the local economy in the future.
Additionally, three research buildings of the future industry certification center, a core project for the county's future growth (Future Vehicle Electromagnetic Compatibility Certification Evaluation Center, e-Mobility Power System Evaluation Center, Small Hydrogen Fuel Cell Research Center), are currently undergoing exterior and interior finishing works.
Two buildings in the energy sector (Green Hydrogen Production System Technology Development, Establishment of Remanufacturing Infrastructure for Aging Power Equipment) are currently in the detailed design phase, aiming for completion next year.
Governor Gang said, "The construction of the knowledge industry center provides companies with smart and efficient workspaces and creates conditions to enhance corporate innovation and growth capabilities."
He added, "Since the e-mobility expo will be held in Daema this October, I hope the knowledge industry center will stand tall as a landmark of the e-mobility industry, and I ask everyone to do their best until its completion."
