Dong-A University Selected as a 'Collaborative Research Institution' by the International Olympic Committee Research Center
Dong-A University has been selected as a 'Collaborative Research Institution' for the Korea International Olympic Committee Research Centre (IOC Research Centre Korea) from 2023 to 2026.
Professor Jeon Hyungpil from the Department of Physical Education has been appointed as the Director of Medical Science Research at the Korea IOC Research Centre.
The International Olympic Committee Research Centre is an institution specializing in sports medical science research, contributing to the prevention of injuries and diseases, improvement of performance and movement, and promotion of health for people around the world who enjoy sports.
Professor Jeon Hyungpil said, "It is an honor to stand shoulder to shoulder with global research institutions as a faculty member of Dong-A University and the only Director of Medical Science Research at the Korea IOC Research Centre in Northeast Asia," adding, "I will do my best to activate research on sports injury prevention, performance, and movement improvement."

Kim Dooseop, Director of the Korea IOC Research Centre, stated, "The Korea IOC Research Centre will continue to advance as a hub for both elite sports in Korea and global sports research in collaboration with domestic and international partners," and added, "Cooperation with research institutions like Dong-A University is highly anticipated and an essential element."
