Office for Government Policy Coordination Collects Public Opinions on 374 Sunset Regulations Requiring Reexamination
3-Week Public Consultation on Regulatory Information Portal
The Office for Government Policy Coordination will collect public opinions on the improvement and abolition of 374 regulatory affairs that are set to expire this year.
Article 8 of the Framework Act on Administrative Regulations requires that regulations approaching their sunset date be reviewed for necessity and validity, and either abolished or eased accordingly.
The regulations set to expire this year include a total of 374 cases, such as the "Publishing Culture Industry Promotion Act" and the "Ship Crew Act."
From the 20th, for a total of three weeks (~5.10), you can freely submit improvement suggestions regarding regulations approaching their review deadline on the Regulatory Information Portal.
Submitted opinions will be forwarded to the "Public-Private Joint Task Force for Improvement of Regulations Approaching Review Deadlines" and actively utilized in reviewing the appropriateness and validity of the regulations.
