Lotte Wellfood Launches Three 'Zero' Ice Cream Varieties
Pre-peak Season 'Zero Sugar' Strategy to Expand Presence in the Ice Cream Market
Lotte Wellfood (formerly Lotte Confectionery) announced on the 20th that it will launch three ice cream products under the "ZERO" brand: "Zero Milk Monaka," "Zero Milk Soft Cone," and "Zero Mini Bite Milk & Choco."
The Zero frozen desserts are characterized by their clean sweetness without being overly sweet. The "Zero Milk Monaka" allows you to enjoy milk-flavored ice cream and sweet whole red bean paste together with a biscuit in a moist texture, harmonizing two textures: soft and crispy. The "Zero Milk Soft Cone" focuses on a soft and clean milk flavor combined with a crispy cone biscuit, while the "Zero Mini Bite Milk & Choco" features a small, convenient individually wrapped size with crispy chocolate coating and soft ice cream inside, offering a sweet yet mild taste and a dual texture experience.

ZERO is a brand that Lotte Wellfood dedicated significant effort to, forming a separate team and conducting over a year of research before its launch. The newly released products underwent thorough and diverse verification processes, including consumer pre-surveys and taste tests, to preserve the delicious taste and flavor of ice cream without using sugar and sweeteners.
