Black Yak Selected as Official Sponsor of the World Curling Championship
Support of Organizing Committee and Volunteer Team Uniforms as Official Sponsor
BYN Black Yak Group announced on the 20th that it has been selected as the official sponsor of the 2023 World Curling Championship.
Black Yak will serve as the official sponsor of the 2023 World Curling Championship, held from the 22nd to the 29th at Gangneung Olympic Park, and will provide uniforms for the organizing committee and volunteer support teams.
The tournament will feature 60 teams from 31 countries worldwide, with mixed doubles teams consisting of two players (one male and one female) competing in 8-end matches, and senior curling teams of four players aged 50 and above also playing 8-end matches simultaneously. This is the first time in 14 years since the 2009 Women's World Curling Championship that a world-class curling international competition is being held in Korea.
Having signed an official sponsorship agreement with the Korea Curling Federation in February, Black Yak plans to continue its efforts to enhance the performance of the Korean national team and popularize curling by sponsoring the 2023 World Curling Championship.
