'Suzume' Shinkai Makoto's Visit to Korea, Traveling to Seoul, Busan, and Jeju
Director Makoto Shinkai will come to Korea again on the 27th.
According to Media Castle on the 19th, Director Makoto Shinkai, who visited Korea earlier last month, will return to Korea from the 27th to the 30th to meet domestic audiences in order to keep his promise to come back once the movie "Suzume no Tojimari" surpasses 3 million viewers.
"Suzume no Tojimari" is a film that depicts the story of a girl named Suzume who accidentally opens doors that bring disasters and desperately closes them to prevent disasters occurring across Japan. It was released on the 8th of last month and has attracted a cumulative audience of 4.73 million, ranking first among movies released this year in box office success.

Director Shinkai will visit Seoul, Busan, and Jeju to hold audience talks (GV). At the Seoul GV event, he will be joined by voice actors Jang Yena, Jeong Juwon, Lee Kyungtae, and Lee Seonyul, who participated in the Korean dubbed version scheduled for release in May. Writer Kim Seyoon will serve as the moderator for the GV.
