Emergency Arrest of a Man in His 30s for Threatening Massage Parlor Employee with a Weapon
A man in his 30s who threatened an employee at a massage parlor and fled with a mobile phone was apprehended by the police.
On the 19th, the Gwanak Police Station in Seoul urgently arrested and is currently investigating a man in his 30s, Mr. A, on suspicion of robbery with a weapon.
Mr. A is suspected of entering a massage parlor in Sillim-dong, Gwanak-gu, Seoul, pretending to be a customer at 1:59 a.m. that day, threatening a female employee in her 50s with a weapon, and fleeing after stealing a work mobile phone.
The police tracked Mr. A through CCTV analysis and arrested him in Geumcheon-gu at 2:28 a.m., just 30 minutes after the crime. The police also recovered the weapon Mr. A discarded while fleeing near the crime scene.

The police stated, "The detailed circumstances of the incident are under investigation," and added, "We are also considering applying for an arrest warrant after the investigation."
