Korea Investment Corporation Donates 30 Million Won for Wildfire Damage Recovery Fund
Korea Investment Corporation (KIC) will donate relief funds to help residents affected by wildfires in Gangneung and other areas.
On the 18th, KIC announced that it has decided to contribute 30 million won in donations to the Hope Bridge Korea Disaster Relief Association to support victims in wildfire-affected areas such as Gangneung.
The funds will be used to assist in the recovery of wildfire-affected regions and to provide relief supplies to the victims.
President Jin Seung-ho said, "We hope this contribution will help those suffering from unexpected disasters return to their daily lives as soon as possible," adding, "KIC will continue to actively engage in emergency disaster relief efforts to fulfill its social responsibility as a sovereign wealth fund."

Meanwhile, KIC has supported disaster victims both domestically and internationally by providing emergency relief funds during last year's wildfires and floods in the Gyeongbuk and Gangwon regions, as well as donating to earthquake relief efforts in Turkey and Syria in February of this year.
