A man in his 50s crushed to death by a 3-ton structure while demolishing a factory in Haman
The owner of a demolition company in his 50s died on the spot after being crushed by a structure that fell from the ceiling while demolishing a closed factory.
According to the Haman Police Station, at around 11:50 a.m. on the 17th, a 3-ton steel structure hanging from a ceiling chain fell toward Mr. A at a factory demolition site in Chilseo-myeon, Haman-gun, Gyeongnam Province.
At the time of the accident, Mr. A was wearing a safety helmet, but the structure, which was 2.5 to 3 meters high, fell toward his chest, causing him to suffocate.
