Police Receiving 'Address·Password' Texts, Dispatched to Find... Family Tragedy
Daughter Presumed to Have Committed Extreme Act After Killing Parents
Three family members, including parents in their 60s and their daughter in her 20s, were found dead in a villa in Gwangju-si, Gyeonggi Province. The police have launched an investigation to determine the detailed circumstances of the incident.
According to the Gwangju Police Station on the 17th, at around 10:11 PM the previous day, a man identified as A (67), a woman B (69), and their daughter C (29) were found stabbed to death in a villa located in Gosan-dong, Gwangju-si, as reported by Yonhap News Agency on the same day.
At the time, the police were dispatched after receiving a text message from C containing the home address and password.
However, when the police arrived at the scene, the entire family had already been stabbed to death.
According to the police investigation, a half-sized A4 note containing a message saying "I am taking care of my sick parents" was found at the scene, and there were no signs of external intrusion.
The police suspect that on the day of the report, C first killed her parents with a knife and then took her own life.
The police are currently investigating the specific circumstances of the case, including requesting autopsies of the three deceased family members from the National Forensic Service.
