FKCCI SME Center and LG Electronics Join Hands to Support ESG Management for Partner Companies
Support for Strengthening ESG Capabilities for LG Electronics Partners
The Federation of Korean Industries Small and Medium Business Cooperation Center and LG Electronics signed a business agreement on the 17th at the Federation of Korean Industries Building in Seoul for 'Supporting ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) Management of Partner Companies and Promoting Mutual Growth.'
Both parties will continuously promote projects to support ESG management of LG Electronics' partner companies and activate mutual growth. The Federation of Korean Industries Management Advisory Group will conduct ESG capability assessments and on-site inspections for partner companies, providing comparative results against self-assessments. They will also offer education and consulting to help strengthen ESG capabilities. LG Electronics will provide a self-diagnosis tool so that partner companies can independently check their ESG management status. Development of online training courses and support for foreign language content for overseas partner companies will also be carried out.
Park Cheolhan, head of the Federation of Korean Industries Small and Medium Business Cooperation Center, said, "Starting with LG Electronics, we will promote various mutual growth projects for large and medium-sized partner companies. Through ESG consultant training courses, we will support capacity building so that advisory committee members can efficiently transfer the know-how and experience they have accumulated in the field,” he said.
