The youth reporters group, first formed in 2019, is nicknamed 'Phambly,' a portmanteau of the English words 'Pharm' (pharmaceutical) and 'Lovely.' Starting with the 1st group in 2019, it is now in its 5th term this year and has established itself as a representative university student participation program of the Korea Pharmaceutical and Bio-Pharma Manufacturers Association. The number of members was the same as the previous 4th group, selecting 10 general reporters and 10 video reporters each.
A total of 254 people applied for the newly starting 5th youth reporters group. The general reporters responsible for blog content overcame a competition ratio of about 23:1, and the video reporters producing videos for YouTube overcame a competition ratio of about 3:1, with a total of 20 people making the list of the 5th youth reporters group. Composed of various majors such as life sciences, pharmacy, microbiology, business administration, and advertising and public relations, they plan to highlight the value and role of the pharmaceutical and bio industry from their own perspectives. They plan to produce various industry-related content such as field visits to production facilities and research institutes, interviews with current workers, seminars, and discussions.
