Mokpo Coast Guard Urgently Transfers Crew Member Complaining of Abdominal Pain
Mokpo Coast Guard Station (Chief Kim Hae-cheol) urgently transported an emergency patient who complained of severe abdominal pain in the waters of Sinan-gun, Jeollanam-do.

According to Mokpo Coast Guard on the 17th, at around 12:35 PM on the 16th, a report was received that crew member B (in his 60s) of fishing vessel A (14 tons, Sinan-registered) was experiencing severe abdominal pain near the northwest waters of Bigeumdo.
The Coast Guard immediately dispatched a coastal rescue boat from the nearby substation to the scene, boarded the patient, and moved to Namgang Pier on Amtaedo, where the patient was handed over to the 119 ambulance team.
With the help of the Coast Guard, Mr. B was transported to the mainland and transferred to a large hospital in Mokpo, where he is currently receiving treatment.
