Kiturami Holdings Reports Record High Sales of 1.2024 Trillion Won Last Year
Strengthening Subsidiaries' Expertise and Competitiveness After Transition to Holding Company System
Kiturami Holdings (CEO Song Kyung-seok) announced on the 17th that it recorded its highest-ever performance with consolidated sales of 1.2024 trillion KRW and operating profit of 35.4 billion KRW last year. Kiturami transitioned to a holding company structure in November 2019.
Kiturami Holdings' last year's performance showed a 24% increase in sales and a 43% increase in operating profit compared to the previous year, despite the global economic downturn, soaring raw material prices, and weakened domestic consumer sentiment. The sales of the heating, cooling, and energy subsidiaries, which are the core businesses within the Kiturami Group, showed steady growth.
The heating subsidiary, Kiturami, increased sales centered on the newly launched premium eco-friendly gas boilers and the '3rd generation carbon mat ondol' in the heating mat market. Among the three cooling subsidiaries, Kiturami Bumyang Cooling saw increased performance focusing on refrigeration and air conditioning equipment for semiconductor factories, cooling towers for power plants, and refrigeration units for cold storage warehouses. Shinseong Engineering expanded sales through increased supply of air conditioning systems for semiconductor factories and essential dry room and clean room systems for secondary battery manufacturing environments. Century actively expanded orders by focusing on the rapidly growing 'cold chain system' alongside the online fresh food market.
